The Drawbacks Of MS

For quite some time now multiple sclerosis has been a problem for patients and doctors alike. Leaving both parties stressed out for the cure. Doctors are more like to feel the pressure for this disease has reaped the modern world with havoc since its first recorded incident came to happen more than a hundred years ago. Since then doctors have been looking for ways in which they can solve the problem. A problem that has been bugging them ever since it first came out. The reason for such delayed discovery of the cure lies within the disease itself. The nature of the disease makes it even harder for the doctors to conduct surveys and test due to the matter that this disease happens in microscopic details.

Making it even harder for the doctors to determine what the root cause of the disease is. Some find this disease a dead end in which we still do not have the proper equipment to manipulate a human brain and start taking test on order for us to gain more knowledge of the subject. People have been always sceptical about the plans of the doctors towards this disease. Making people think that it would never become a reality. This case is true to some of the patients that are in the last stage of the disease in which they would be bed ridden for the rest of their lives. There is a fifty percent chance that you can survive, though the remaining fifty percent would send you to your grave or your bed.

Such a consolation a person with multiple sclerosis would not want to choose from. But despite these problems the multiple sclerosis society has always been positive on the ways to keep themselves at peace. Knowing that one day there would be a cure discovered for their illness. Though that day could not come soon they are not keeping themselves far away from the society. As a person when you know you have a disease that cannot be cured you would react to neglecting the society you once lived in. Preferring to leave a separate life away from your friends and family, for you are not your old self anymore. This can bring serious problems not just to your physical body but with your mental health as well.

With the society you are given the chance to share all your thoughts and ideas you can share to your fellow members. This would be great for people having problems created by the disease problems that are mostly mental and not physical. It would always be great to have a family that knows exactly what you are feeling and thinking so that you may have someone to talk to. The hardest part of having the MS is not the disease itself, but the drawbacks the disease it has for you as a person.
